The Teacher...

Monica has over a decade’s experience working in education settings. She has taught many private and small group music and singing lessons over the years, as well as piano, dance and drama classes. She is currently working as a primary school teacher aide at a private school in Brisbane’s northwest. She has been running her own private vocal tuition studio for the past five years, teaching contemporary voice.

Monica holds Bachelor degrees in both Drama and Contemporary Music (majoring in Music Education and Voice Performance). She completed pedagogy training in Jeannie LoVetri’s Somatic Voicework (SM) Levels I, II, and III in 2019, and continues to explore professional development with ANATS.

She has a limited number of spots available during the week after school. Please get in touch for information about available lesson times, fees, etc.

The Conductor...

Since 2020, Monica has been Conductor and Music Director for Samford Community Singers, a small (but passionate!) community choir in Samford. The choir meets every Monday evening during school terms.
