The Arranger (& sometimes composer)…

Monica has a keen interest in the creation process and has been exploring songwriting and composition since childhood, when she wrote her first piece of music, a 14-note pentatonic melody written entirely on the black notes of the piano.

Many cringey lyrics and unmemorable melodies later (and thanks to her years of musical training as well as hours and hours of listening), Monica has begun to develop a style and sound that is inspired by her favourite artists and genres. She continues to explore and learn more about the songwriting process.

Arranging music for choral groups and small ensembles is a big passion for Monica. She has written several arrangements for SAB, SSA, and SATB voices.

Monica is working on publishing some of her compositions and arrangements and will soon be available for purchase through ArrangeMe.
