A Bit About Me…
PARTIAL TO JAZZ, COFFEE, CATS AND NETFLIX
I have been training and performing in the arts for twenty-five years. I have studied dance, drama, singing and music in one way or another since the age of four. Once I realised my dreams of dancing Coppelia on the ballet stages of the world were unlikely to come true, I turned my attention to acting and singing. I excelled in drama classes at school and commenced voice training at age 16. I enjoyed studying many genres and disciplines through my schooling years and beyond and found a particular passion for jazz, cabaret and musical theatre. Recently I returned to studying piano and I'm currently preparing to take my AMEB Grade 5 classical exam.
I have performed at venues including The Brisbane Jazz Club, MetroArts, The Schonell Theatre, and the Concert Hall at Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
I hold a Bachelor of Creative Industries in Drama and Creative Industries Management from Queensland University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music from Southern Cross University majoring in Voice Performance and Music Education. Recently I completed voice pedagogy training in Levels I, II and III of Somatic Voicework (TM) The LoVetri Method at Artsworx, University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba.
I have taught dance and movement to preschool age children, primary after-school drama classes, and private and group singing to dance students. I adore the arts in all its forms and couldn't imagine doing anything else with my life. I love nothing more than sharing my passion with everyone I meet and I look forward to sharing it with YOU!
